This warning has been around for a year, but largely ignored. It doesn't fit the "logic" of liberals and progressives.
The U.S. has a violence rate of 466 crimes per 100,000 residents [LESS THAN 1/4 THAT OF THE U.K.], Canada 935, Australia 92 and South Africa 1,609. [source]
What to conclude? Strict gun laws in Great Britain and Australia haven't made their people noticeably safer, nor have they prevented massacres. The two major countries held up as models for the U.S. don't provide much evidence that strict gun laws will solve our problems.
