Regionally, the Arctic has shown warming over the past 50 years. It's not the first time and, no doubt, will not be the last.

That may be true in some locations, while in others they are thriving. Animal populations increase and decrease from a variety of factors including temperature, food availability, and human activity.Meanwhile, in Antarctica, the regional climate appears to be getting colder.
Could it be that it is simply inconvenient to recognize changes that don't fit the runaway global warming story some want to tell?..
