How About 54 MPG For The U.S.

... why not here?






Maybe some of the blame goes to the U.S. government for not being willing to work with Europe to achieve common safety and emission standards.
Are you listening you environmentalists and government officials? Make it easier, not harder for the marketplace to work. These vehicles work and use 1/2 the fuel of most vehicles... and they're here now, not 10 years from now.

And can you spell b i o d i e s e l ??? That's even less fuel from petroleum. Hard to do that in a gasoline-electric hybrid.
And about that Ford European 3.6L twin-turbo V8 for larger applications....
