This weekend, I spoke with a person from Traverse City [the top of Michigan's lower peninsula] who said that the fruit trees bloomed late, few bees were out to pollinate, and then there were two hard freezes. I also spoke to a person from Minnesota north of Duluth who said the plants were barely out of the ground.

Now we hear reports that the southern hemisphere is experiencing a lot of colder-than-usual weather.

Meanwhile, our politicians are busy thinking up ways to make heating more expensive... or not up to demand like South Africa.
