Diet Cooking

My wife started a new low-carb approach to eating about a month ago and has lost about 12 lbs. She has also lowered her blood pressure a bit. That's quite an achievement for the holiday period. So much for the upside.

Tonight she prepared us two lean pork chops and some vegetables. Because she cooks, I clean... a kind of understood arrangement. After our simple meal, I walked over to the sink to find these dirty items... excluding the dishes, glasses, and utensils that we used for eating:
  • one large frying pan
  • one medium frying pan
  • one medium pot
  • one small pot
  • one baking pan
  • one medium bowl
  • one cutting board
  • one large strainer
  • two spatulas
Again, that's for two people, two pork chops and some vegetables. Imagine getting "dishpan hands" from that meal!

I'm thinking she is working on her own TV cooking show.
