May 2009 Weather

SEARCH BLOG: WEATHER

May in this area was a continuation of the colder-than-normal weather we have experienced for well over a year. This is consistent with the reporting of colder-than-normal weather throughout Canada as reported here.

Looking back over 16 months, temperatures have averaged 2.4°F colder-than-normal. Yet, during that time, our newspapers continue to harp on the terrible effects of global warming. Where is global warming?

Definitely not around here.

Sorry for all of that CO2 we've been pumping into the air, but we've had to heat a lot more than normal with all of the cooling that has been going on. But we are sort of hoping for some global warming around here... even 0.7°C. I like to think of any warming as Climate Moderation.
