Yesterday, three nice-looking, friendly young men stopped by to chat about their religion. I thanked them for their intention and said that, while I didn't share their specific beliefs, I respected the way they sought to live with integrity, decency, and not force their views on others.
They offered me a card [below] and an invitation to read about them and their beliefs on their website [I have some familiarity with their religion].
It's quite a stark contrast between that encounter and what passes for religious conviction in the Middle East.
I'm sure that like all groups who call themselves "Christian," the Mormons have their less-than-holy, too. Of all the Mormons I've known, however, I just haven't met any of satanic types.
