The Michigan economy may be wheezing, but we are fortunate that the state has fantastic recreational opportunities... more water and boats than just about any other, plus really, really inexpensive golf. Consequently, we hardly feel deprived staying in the area for our relaxing time.
The weather here has been on the cool side this spring, just as it has been for most of the northern half of North America. So, getting out on the lake in the middle of June means wearing a fleece pullover. Regardless, it is still getting out the lake.
