Late Autumn Early

Here in the Midwest, we've had a cool summer and it looks as if autumn will be considerably cooler than normal. The first half of October... if you include the forecast for the next week... looks as if it will be about 5°F below normal. That's basically end of October weather. So, we will skip the fall boat rides and get the boat out of the water and shrink wrapped for the winter so that we can pull the dock before the lake freezes on October 21st.

What's coming...

Time to fire up those CO2-producing furnaces and fireplaces. We'll need all the atmospheric blankets we can get now that global warming has taken its cyclical downturn.
