Who Pays Their Medical Bills?

In the recent attempted destruction of a Delta Airlines flight into Detroit, two people were injured:

The man who tried to blow up the plane.





The man who subdued the man who tried to blow up the plane.








Both required medical treatment.

Who pays for the treatment?
  • The government [you, the taxpayer]?
  • The airline?
  • The person who was injured?
You can bet the government [you] pays for medical treatment and future room and board for the man who tried to blow up the plane.
