Somewhere there is global warming, but it is not in the Great Lakes area of the United States... at least for almost two years. 2009 averaged 2.2°F below normal and that was a continuation of 2008 weather.
The first week or so of January is projected to be between 5° and 10° below normal. Tonight is the start of it.We can only hope this January is not like January 2009 when our overall temperatures averaged 10.1°F below normal.
It's hard to imagine how this area could have adequate heating under a CO2 cap system.
