Minnesota Won Everything Except The Game

SEARCH BLOG: FOOTBALL

Watching the Minnesota Vikings play today was almost as painful as being Brett Favre. Despite an offensive line that seemingly could not block a defender, Favre kept Minnesota rolling up and down the field amassing far more yards than the New Orleans Saints. But when it came to key plays, the Vikings were all thumbs and literally gave the game away.

Maybe the Vikings' ball was teflon coated to make fumbling easier. It didn't seem to matter who had the rock, they dropped it like one.

We lower peninsula Michigan residents have little love for the Vikings, but it would have been nice to see Favre versus Manning in the Super Bowl.

Judging from the less-than-stellar offense and fair-to-middling defense the Saints displayed against the Vikings, it would seem that Indianapolis should be the profound favorite for the big one.
