Our youngest grandson, who is here from San Francisco with his parents, celebrated his 1st birthday [a few days early] today.
We went to the petting zoo at Domino's Farms which is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on the grounds of the Domino's Pizza headquarters. A couple of days ago it was around 80°. Today, yeah, it's Michigan.
Still the kids enjoyed the day. The animals love to be fed carrot pieces [which the Farm sells] and fully expect that if you come near them that you will be giving them a treat.Fortunately, the little rustic room you can rent for such occasions is heated.
After a very quick ride on the hay wagon, the kids and parents were happy to warm up inside.Naturally, the food fare was Domino's Pizza with a smattering of fruit and veggies brought in by the grandparents.
The big chocolate sheet cake was mandatory and dutifully devoured by the kids and parents alike.It was a nice way for our son's family and their friends and kids to get together. Domino's does a nice job of creating a pleasant place for toddlers, parents, and grandparents to all have a nice time at their own pace.
