ave heard that Spirit Airlines is putting new luggage fees in effect this summer. No, not just the luggage you check; the luggage you carry on will have fees ranging up to $45. That could be 1/2 of your one-way ticket. That got me to thinking about what kind of passenger will travel without any luggage. I didn't have to think long, but I didn't know that Spirit Airlines had connecting flights to and from Nigeria.
