SEARCH BLOG: IPHONE
I just got done installing the OS4 version of the iPhone software on my 3G phone. Some features seem to work, others don't.
I tried the multitasking following instructions on a couple of sites... no luck. I tried to see if the iPhone would pair with my Bluetooth keyboard... no luck... which really disappointed me. The camera feature to zoom in works, but I already had a free app, Camera Plus, that does that and more. The "places" feature on the photo library is quite nice. I can quickly find all of the photos I took in one location.
What seems to be the case is the phone responds more slowly... especially starting up the various apps.
So far, I don't see why all of the excitement. Maybe it just doesn't function with the 3G phone as well as the newer versions. We'll see. I'm going with one of my sons to the Apple store early Thursday morning so he can buy the newest version of the iPhone.
