U.S. To Implement Mexican Immigration Laws

President Obama declared that "mutual trust and respect" are to be the cornerstone of his new immigration policy.  He further declared that "we in the United States have much to learn from our neighbors to the south.  Therefore, I am requesting that Congress enact a reciprocal immigration treaty with Mexico, based on Mexico's enlightened law, as soon as possible."

It was at that point that he received a folded memo from one of his staff.  After a brief pause, the President remarked, "Never mind; forget what I just said."
