If we are to accept the position of some, Iran is a misunderstood land of oriental rugs, pistachios, and peace-loving people praying 5 times each day. Iran is also a nation that desperately needs nuclear power to provide all of the necessities of life to their otherwise impoverished people; it is not seeking nuclear weapons to become the North Korea of the Middle East. Iran's rulers are religious, ethical, and moderate in life and in their dealings with their own citizens and other countries.
Strange how Iran seems to be the focus of so much international concern given it is the victim of others' ill-intentions.
