... the Saudis strongly believe that if Iran is able to militarize its nuclear program while it remains a signatory to the 1968 Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, or NPT, this would render the treaty worthless. The likely Saudi response would be to seek a nuclear capability of its own.It looks like the old saw "a market in everything" has brought an opportunity for President Obama to kill two birds with one stone: while he weakens the U.S. nuclear arsenal with unilateral disarmament, he can create a "nuclear solution" for the Middle East by selling U.S. surplus.
