Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Except For Those On Medicare

SEARCH BLOG: MEDICARE and HEALTH CARE

From The Wall Street Journal:
Richard Foster, Medicare's chief actuary, noted that Medicare payment rates for doctors and hospitals serving seniors will be cut by 30% over the next three years. Under the policies of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, by 2019 Medicare payment rates will be lower than under Medicaid.
Just so that sinks in, Obamacare is scheduled to cut payments to healthcare providers under Medicare... a system that a retiree has paid into during his working career and continues to pay monthly premiums toward... to less than payments to healthcare providers under Medicaid... a system that recipients do not pay for.

So, you're a health care provider and it is in your best interests to not accept Medicare patients as long as your schedule is full of private insurance or Medicaid [welfare] patients.

This is Obamacare's assault on seniors. [image]  Now, who is pushing seniors over the cliff???  Hey, those seniors are taking up valuable space on the surface of the earth.  They're better suited under the surface, right O Great One?

Perhaps some apologies are due to Rep. Paul Ryan.  [h/t Maggie's Notebook]
