Economic Shock

SEARCH BLOG: ECONOMY

This is our second opportunity to visit California this year.  We enjoy the state and its different vistas.  But we find the cost of living incredible by Michigan standards.

A million dollars doesn't go very far in the housing market... a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 car garage mansion can be yours.

We stopped at a local diner for lunch.  $14 hamburgers and fries.  Hmmm.

Gasoline is 80¢ per gallon higher than back home.

A lot of people make a lot of money in the tech industry... but a lot of people don't.  This doesn't seem to be sustainable... and then there are those state taxes.

California... a nice place to visit.
