You get the government for which you vote. After 3-1/2 years of hoping and changing, the United States is still wallowing in an economic mess. First it was George Bush's fault... presumably for letting the Democrats push through "housing reform" which destroyed the sound lending practices of the past and leading to a housing bubble and collapse that pulled the rest of the economy with it. Then, of course, it was the fault of the Tea Party for not letting the present administration continue to spend hundreds of billions of dollars selecting which of their friends and contributors they wanted to "stimulate."
Today is another step for those who want to return to a free(r) market more restricted government approach to the economy. My family and neighbors will certainly be a part of that. You should do your part as well.
UPDATE:
I had a bit of a chuckle at the polling location where my wife announce how pleased she was that Michigan had a voter ID requirement. Then she was informed that the reverse side of the sign-in form had an "opt out" feature. She then went ballistic.
