Media Tries To Fault Romney For Faulting Obama About Embassy Attacks

SEARCH BLOG: OBAMA and ROMNEY

The U.S. was physically attacked again on 9/11.  Yes, this U.S. soil was located in both Egypt and Libya, but it was part of the U.S. since U.S. embassies were on that soil.

Mitt Romney was critical of the initial response which tried to deflect the fact that it was an attack on the U.S. with a statement about the obscure film which was purported to be the flimsy excuse for the attacks.  Romney wasn't the only one who was critical of the State Department's Casper Milktoast response.

From Reuters:

Blasting Obama on Libya [they are so grateful for U.S. aid in removing Qaddafi] and Egypt,  [they are so grateful for U.S. aid in removing Mubarak] Romney accused of opportunism

Yet, from The New York Times:

Egypt May Be Bigger Concern Than Libya for White House

The tepid response from the Egyptian government to violence at the embassy in Cairo worried American officials.

What did The New York Times expect when the U.S. response was tepid... at best?

And BBC reports:

US embassy in Yemen stormed in film protest.  Protesters could be seen climbing over the gates of the embassy compound
The U.S. has to realize that this is still part of the Islamists' general war against the west.  No apology or excuses will have any impact and will only be seen as weakness to further encourage the Islamists.  If the governments of these countries in which the attacks occurred have "tepid" or no response, then perhaps it is time for the military aid and those billion dollar "debt forgiveness" deals to be rescinded... immediately.

With allies like that, who needs enemies?  But then, that doesn't coincide with Obama's world view where Islamic totalitarianism is our future friend and Israel is an annoyance.
