This is unfounded. There is increasing evidence that, while there are some rabid Obama supporters who would not hesitate to cause mischief, a large portion of his 2008 support base has become disillusioned by his on-the-job performance... or lack thereof. These mischief-makers, of course, are the stupid few who still believe Obama is bringing the change they hope for.
