How To Use $100 Billion

$100 billion is a number that seems to come up a lot with regard to the Federal government. Go ahead and "google" that yourself. You'll be surprised.

Recently at the Copenhagen Climate Conference, Sec. Hillary Clinton offered up $100 billion to combat global warming in developing countries. That's $100 billion to do something about CO2... the naturally-occurring gas that plants require for their existence.

Well, I bet there are a lot of things that could be done with $100 billion besides pretending we were preventing changes to our climate [which will happen regardless]. How about...

  • eliminating hunger for 25-30 million Americans
  • paying doctors reasonable fees for their Medicare services
  • not increasing the federal debt by $100 billion
... and many more that you can come up with.
