$100 billion is a number that seems to come up a lot with regard to the Federal government. Go ahead and "google" that yourself. You'll be surprised.Recently at the Copenhagen Climate Conference, Sec. Hillary Clinton offered up $100 billion to combat global warming in developing countries. That's $100 billion to do something about CO2... the naturally-occurring gas that plants require for their existence.
Well, I bet there are a lot of things that could be done with $100 billion besides pretending we were preventing changes to our climate [which will happen regardless]. How about...
- eliminating hunger for 25-30 million Americans
- paying doctors reasonable fees for their Medicare services
- not increasing the federal debt by $100 billion
