Today the first family will return to the Hawaiian rental house they rented last Christmas. The 7,000 square foot abode sits on a beach on the southeastern coast of Oahu. When 'Good Morning America' visited there was a special delivery Christmas tree sitting in the corner. The owner had also stocked the place with what the president "really loves": sweet potato chips and taro chips, a local specialty.Perhaps he is just trying to "stimulate" the economy. Or maybe he just has some official business with the Hawaiian Secretary of State to be sure his birth records are classified and protected by Interpol.The tour included the poolside room Malia and Sasha will share, and the master bedroom which boasts breathtaking views of the ocean. The place goes for $4,000 a night, and the first family also rented the two house next door for family and friends.
The house is on the market and the local realtor told ABC News that Obama has expressed "some interest" in buying it.
