Summer is a great season in Michigan. Warmth, blue skies, green landscapes, and lots of old cars... classics... on the road.
The color was similar to this picture... maybe a little more metallic mauve, but close. From behind it was fairly distinctive with its "pursed lips" rear window.
It's good to see American cars going back to some styling character, even if it is limited compared with the explosion of different styles in the 1950s. Back then, only imagination limited design; today aerodynamics and EPA mileage requirements keep stying on a leash.
