There is little doubt about this blog's political orientation. So, when conservatives compound flawed strategies with flawed reactions because they are frustrated that their strategies were flawed, one has to wonder: what are you thinking?

What are the alternatives?
Virg Bernero was the fortuitous recipient of Rick Snyder's pulling of independent voters as well as game-playing Democrats who were trying undermine the Republican primary and screwed Andy Dillon in the process. Bernero is basically a socialist beholden to unions for his political life. He is a disaster for the Democratic Party in Michigan. Yet, all Bernero has to do is garner a small majority of loyal Democratic Party voters and let Republicans diffuse their votes among non-party or Libertarian candidates and Bernero becomes Governor.
The first signs of that happening appeared today at the conservative blog, Right Michigan.
Are you going to "hold your nose" and vote for Rick Snyder, just because he has a "-r" after his name on the ballot? Are you going to not vote for Bernero?
I don't know about you, but NEITHER one of those choices appeals to me.
I want to see an actual limited-government, Conservative candidate for the Office of Governor on the ballot.
If this is something that you also want to see, and not wait until 2014, I highly recommend that you take at look at this year's US Taxpayer's Party of Michigan gubernatorial candidate: Stacey Mathia.
Flawed strategy compounded by frustration equals stupidity... and stupidity has its own rewards.
