Something you don't see too often... an amateur leading the U.S. Open. He may not win, but he'll play on the weekend which is also quite an achievement for a 17-year old. I'm about 2-3 miles from the tournament, but visiting grandchildren so my viewing is at the screen.
UPDATE:
His lead did not last for long as he had an errant tee shot and double bogey, but he is still only 4 shots off the lead and tied for 10th. Quite and achievement for his age. Now the weekend comes and the hard stuff.
