In San Francisco helping my oldest son's family move from Pacifica. It's a big change from a hilltop overlooking an ocean to a neighborhood setting with playgrounds, but lifestyles require adjustment when you have a child on the verge of walking. A home built on the side of a steep hill just doesn't work real well.
Publishing this from my iPhone until we can get the cable Internet bugs worked out.
By the way, if you like the view of the ocean and a clear view of San Francisco at night, the home adjacent to the top picture is for sale [no, not my son's and sure it is a nice 7-figure number].

Existing-home sales plunged in December, dropping lower than expected after three straight increases that were fed by a fat government tax credit.
Home resales fell by 16.7% to a 5.45 million annual rate from an unrevised 6.54 million in November, the National Association of Realtors said Monday.
Monday's data said inventories shrank, and prices rose year over year for the first time in more than two years.
