You'll remember the three Navy SEALS who captured a dangerous terrorist murderer in Iraq and instead of a commendation are now facing a court martial because the jihadi complained to Iraqi authorities that they allegedly hit him in the mouth.

In the latest gesture of appeasement, two of them are being shipped to Iraq for trial, while the third is going to appear in a special court martial proceeding next week....

let's see what our military men and women have to say when President Obama tells them to ratchet up the fighting in Afghanistan. I would demand a contract that holds me harmless for any actions before I follow any order from any officer of any rank.
So, now the Obama military pussy staff generals want to send our finest military men to Iraq for trial. What assholes a shame! You can't come up with a better plan to destroy the morale of our military than these pseudo-warriors and left-wing politicians.

From this point on, our military should take no prisoners. All opposition forces should be shot without question or comment. Then our f-cking top generals can go back to their conference rooms and stick their thumbs back up their asses intelligence reports where they belong. These politically-correct generals have gotten so cozy with the corruption of politics that they have forgotten the up front and personal nature of war against an enemy that has no moral or ethical grounding... an enemy who sees the butchering of innocents as admirable.

These pussy staff generals need to go back out on patrol in hostile territory for a few months of retraining and reorientation. Then we would see their attitudes change.

But that's not the totality of this crap policy deployment that has gone on in the Bush [yes GWB]/Obama Pentagon. Listen to this....

The Army on Wednesday evening told Maj. Hasan's defense lawyers that it had convened a so-called sanity board to evaluate whether Maj. Hasan is fit to stand trial. The three-person panel is expected to make a recommendation by the end of February, a timeline that has defense attorneys frustrated.

Maj. Hasan is accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian in a Nov. 5 rampage at the Texas Army base. Prosecutors are expected to seek the death penalty.

July 21, 2007 My guess is that if there is an interest rate change, a cut is more likely than an increase. The key variables to be watching at this point are real estate prices and the inventory of unsold homes.

"The new group at the Fed is not equal to the problem that faces it," she says, daring to utter a thought that fellow critics mostly utter sotto voce.

What should the Federal Reserve do now? Step back... and don't be so anxious to raise rates at the first sign of economic improvement.
Individuals and businesses need stability in their financial cost structures so that they can plan effectively and keep their ships afloat. Wildly fluctuating rates... regardless of what the absolute levels are... create problems. Either too much spending or too much fear. It's just not that difficult to comprehend. Why has it been so difficult for the Fed?
